I haven't posted in a while, but Bluegrass continues to be prevalent in my life. YeeHaw Junction had a little practice session last night out at John's Island. It was fun. We kicked off the evening with an energetic rendition of "Fireball Mail" and ended it with a great old-timey number called "Hard Times." We're gearing up for Harvest Fest. What a great event that is every year. You should attend - Nov 1.
Two CDs are on heavy rotation in my car right now - Tony Rice Sings Gordon Lightfoot and The Infamous Stringdusters Fork in The Road. (I'm also listening to Sol Driven train a lot. It's not bluegrass, but it is some great music!)
